It's worth noting that vegan condensed milk might not have the same taste as regular condensed milk. However, it can still provide similar texture and sweetness in vegan recipes.

So whether you're baking, making sauces, or crafting indulgent desserts, vegan condensed milk opens up a world of possibilities for creating delicious plant-based treats.

3 Easy-to-prepare vegan condensed milk recipes

Canned Coconut Cream

Another alternative is to use canned coconut cream instead of condensed milk. Replace the condensed milk with an equal amount of coconut cream. It gives the cake a rich and creamy texture.

Here are some common uses for vegan condensed milk:

  1. Baking: Vegan condensed milk can be a key ingredient in baking recipes, including cakes, cookies, pies, bars, and other sweet treats. It helps create a moist and tender texture while adding sweetness and richness to the final product.

  2. Dessert Sauces: Vegan condensed milk can be used to prepare luscious dessert sauces such as caramel sauce or butterscotch sauce. These sauces are great toppings over ice cream, puddings, and pancakes or used as a dip for fruits.

  3. Vegan Ice Cream: Making vegan ice cream at home requires a creamy and sweet base. Vegan condensed milk can be used as a foundational ingredient in creating a smooth and flavorful ice cream base, which can then be customized with various flavors and mix-ins.

  4. Vegan Fudge and Truffles: Vegan condensed milk is an excellent base for making dairy-free fudge and truffles. It helps achieve a creamy and fudgy consistency, binding the ingredients together and providing a delightful sweetness.

  5. Vegan Pies and Tarts: When preparing vegan versions of pies and tarts, vegan condensed milk can create silky and smooth fillings. It helps in setting the filling while adding a subtle sweetness and creaminess.

By using any of these vegan condensed milk alternatives, you can still achieve the same sweetness and creaminess that the recipe calls for without using dairy products. So give it a try! I'll be delighted if you share which version of the three recipes works best for your baking!
